Starts at the Tower of London and ends at the Royal Exchange Building
Set against the backdrop of three of the City’s most iconic locations this exciting new site specific piece fuses capoeira and contemporary dance, pitching ephemeral human form against monumental architectural strucures. Choreographer and capoeirista Mestre Ponciano Almeida has worked with specially selected students from the Central School of Ballet and Laban over a three month period to create a piece in which the audience is invited to follow the dancers from site to site as the piece evolves in scale, culminating in a momentous close at the City’s heart, the Royal Exchange building.
