Wine and song are never far apart, and this is certainly true in our special evening of tasting fine Portuguese and traditional fado music, featuring some of Portugal’s young fadistas, for which the historic and atmospheric Vintners’ Hall provides a perfect venue. Charles Metcalfe, perhaps the leading authority on Portuguese wine, presents six wines for tasting, with an informative but light-hearted quiz, and prizes for those with the most accurate taste buds.
