Phil joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1976 and became a partner in 1986 specialising in the financial services sector. He is the global financial services assurance leader. His professional experience covers retail, commercial, corporate and investment banking, commodity and derivative trading and asset management. He was the principal author of Generally Accepted Risk Principles and has worked extensively on risk management projects and investigations. He also wrote the PwC publication The Financial Jungle - a guide to financial instruments and co-authored The Financial Jungle - a guide to credit derivatives.
