Get my Group Involved

The varied project work at the centre of the City of London Festival's education programme is concentrated in our neighbouring boroughs of Hackney, Islington, Tower Hamlets and Southwark.

In addition, each year there are numerous opportunities for groups from outside these areas to get involved through our outdoor events programme and annual Festival Children’s Parade.

The City of London Festival Children’s Parade is an annual, unmissable event winding through some of the oldest, most beautiful streets in London, bringing together street arts, music, puppetry, dance, costume and sculpture.

The Festival is inviting schools and community groups from across London to apply to be part of the Festival Children’s Parade; if you have a group who would like to get involved we’d love to hear from you.

In 2015, we are looking to Myths and Legends for inspiration. We would like you to choose your favourite timeless fables and characters from stories or films across the world to bring to life through costume, puppetry, music or dance.

To apply please fill out the Children's Parade form here.

Deadline for applications is Tuesday 10 March 2015.
