Under the Gift Aid Scheme the City of London Festival can claim tax on your donation at no extra cost to you. The City of London Festival will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 you give. This transitional relief for the Festival does not affect your personal tax position. If you are a higher-rate taxpayer, you can claim further relief in your Self Assessment tax return.
