Individual Giving
Help make it happen!
The Festival is a charity and as such seeks funding from the corporate sector as well as trusts and foundations, but to maintain our level of excellence we are becoming increasingly dependent on individuals for support. We invite you to celebrate with us - join our growing group of supporters and help make it happen. There are several ways of getting involved, from becoming a Festival Friend to having a particularly special involvement by joining The Fifty Club.
Become a Festival Friend
You can become a Festival Friend from as little as £30 a year and receive regular newsletters as well as having access to advance booking facilities. If you would like to become more closely involved, attend private receptions, meet performers and attend events throughout the year you can become a Festival Patron (£250), a member of the Director's Circle (£1,000) or a Festival Benefactor (£5,000+).
Festival Friends (£30+)
Stay in touch by becoming a Friend of the Festival for just £30 a year (or £2.50 a month) - this sustained support makes a real difference to our work. In acknowledgement of your involvement, Friends receive the following benefits:
-
Advance programme information: find out first about Festival events and keep up to date with our plans and activities throughout the year with a quarterly newsletter
-
Priority booking: secure your favourite seats at Festival events
Festival Patrons (£250+)
Get closer to the Festival and our artists as a Festival Patron, from £250 a year (or £20.83 a month). As well as receiving all Friends' benefits, you'll be invited to exclusive receptions and events during the Festival and at other times of the year, enjoy a dedicated Festival ticket booking service, have the opportunity to meet performers, and discover more about our education programmes.
Director's Circle (£1,000+)
Gain an insider's insight into the Festival: as a member of the Director's circle, from £1,000 a year (or £83.33 a month), you'll receive all Patrons' benefits, plus personal acknowledgement in the Festival souvenir programme, if desired; an invitation to a dinner with the Festival Director to learn about future plans; and the opportunity to participate in the commissioning of a new work or other special project. Investing in the creation of new music - or in the next generation of music creators - is an exciting way to help maintain the Festival's innovative programme.
Festival Benefactors (£5,000+)
Festival Benefactors, contributing £5,000 or more, receive all the benefits of the Director's Circle as well as the opportunity personally to support a Festival concert, a new commission or another project. You'll receive named acknowledgement as the funder, and the opportunity to meet the composer or performers during the creative process.
