Sustainability

The Festival maintains its interest in and commitment to issues around sustainability and the green agenda, reflected in the programming.

In parallel with these creative activities, the Festival is making renewed efforts to operate in a sustainable manner in all aspects of its day-to-day administrative work and event management. These efforts were acknowledged when the Festival won The Greener Festival Award in September 2010 for the second year running. The Festival has also been used as a case study to demonstrate how a Festival can successfully operate in a sustainable manner.

All of our material is printed on 100% recycled material and is also available digitally on our website.

We encourage our staff and audiences alike promote the use of public transport.
