Cleary Garden

off Queen Victoria Street

During the Middle Ages the area was the hub of the wine trade and today the large sunken lawn covers the site of a Roman bathhouse. Cleary Garden is a tranquil spot separated into three tiers, where canopies of trees and vines create an ideal retreat from the busy City. Cleary Garden is one of three gardens in which the 'Flock' exhibition will be presented during the Festival.
