The oldest public park in London dating back to 1606, Finsbury Circus Gardens is an oasis of green within the hustle and bustle of the City. At the heart of this unique oval-shaped open space is an immaculately maintained bowling green (currently inaccessible and in use by Crossrail as an access point for works), surrounded by several little gardens which hold dozens of benches. Historically, the Festival has used the bandstand for many concert series, but this year the visual art exhibition ‘Flock’ will be in its garden spaces. Festival music will make a return to the bandstand once Crossrail works are completed.
